Most wallets tend to exceed 1.5 inches in thickness
Traditional wallets can last as little as 2 years

Small pockets that can barely hold 2-3 cards
Prone to breaking
Bulky look

Quick Models and Notes
Not ideal with cards visible, clip wasn’t a stable idea
Cards slipped around by the band with no structure
Clip idea still didn’t work very well, shape was nice
Difficult to grab card, needs the same amount of cards to hold
Held cards well and could be used efficiently. Structure was strong
*This design was chosen to expand on

Base
6061 T6 Aluminum
Design
CNC machine used to cut out the base of the wallet. Aluminum was picked because of it’s durability and long lasting qualities.
Holes implemented into the design to allow for hand sewing to attach the leather.
Inserts to secure the rubber band around the base.

Process
This process takes time and dedication. Many tools and techniques were used in the process.
The leather pockets have the freedom to be multiple different style cut.
“L” pieces glued onto the base. The purpose for these is to keep the cards in place.
The leather is then shaped and cut. 2 needles and wax string is then used to hand stitch the leather to the base.

Only 3/4” in thickness
8 cards + cash recommended maximum

RETT style box
The insert was customized. In one piece, the insert holds the wallet in place with finger holes. Wallet does not slide around or come out unless grabbed.
